Chapel Of Our Lady guia (guia Hill, built 17th century), Chapel of Our Lady of Penha (Penha Hill, was discovered in 1622), Chapel of St.. Francis Xavier (Coloane Village, built in 1928), Chapel of St. James (Sao Tiago da Barra, was built beginning in 1740), Chapel of St. Michael (Sao Miguel, built in 1875), Our Lady of Caramel (Nossa Senhora do Cormo, built in 1885), Our Lady of Fatima (23 Rua de Lei Pou Chon, built in 1968), Our Lady of Sorrows (Ka Ho, Coloane, built in 1966).
Here’s a list of churches in Macau:
Church St. Anthony. It is often called Fa Vong Tong (Church of Flowers). St. Anthony is a “military” the respected Portuguese so given the title of Saint Weddings. A lot of people are getting married in church which was built in 1558 until 1560. This church is one of the oldest churches in Macau.
Church St. Augustine’s. Simple neoclassical church, this church is a church where the first Mass held in English. In the neighborhood of the Church of St. Augustine, you can find the church rocky yard set in a traditional Portuguese-Style Street, surrounded by World Heritage sites of St. Seminary. Only with a little road down the hill, you will be in Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, one of the busiest roads in the area.
Church St. Dominic’s. It is one of the performances Macau International Music Festival (MIMF) held yearly. The front page was captured in the form of a cream-colored stone with white stucco moldings and green-framed windows. Inside, white pillars support the ceiling with a balcony around the walls of the museum stage. Bell tower, behind the building, has been converted into a small museum “Treasure of Sacred Art” and displays a collection of about 300 artifacts.
Church St. Francis Xavier. Built in 1907 and rebuilt in 1938. It is a simple little church with a simple interior. It is located in Mong Ha hill.
Church St. Joseph. Known since the year 1728 and completed in 1758, an old seminary, together with the University of St. Paul, is the headquarters of the missionaries stationed in China, Japan and other places in the vicinity. Inside the church, on one side of the altar, there is a snippet from the hand bones of Saint Francis Xavier, one of the relics of revered religious and the most valuable objects that had become a collection of the Church of Mater Dei (Ruins of St. Paul’s). Church opening hours: 10 am to 5 pm (entrance from the side of the Rua do Seminário) Seminary St. Joseph was not opened to the public. Address: Rua do Seminário.
Church St. Lawrence’s. Church St. Lawrence is also known as Feng Shun Tang or the tunnel Wind conditioning. It was first built in 1560. St. Lawrence was sentenced to death by the Roman government for helping the poor with the establishment of communion. In honor of his services, a statue of a saint, with a book and stick in hand, standing upright in the church. This church is very beautiful; standing in the middle of the park contains the palm trees that can be approached from the rear door or by way of the grand staircase and ornate gates, providing a dignified appearance. With a bit of walking, visitors can visit the Lake Nam Van and Sai Van, where the lovers and friends can enjoy the cuisine of India, Italy and France – including spectacular water and light show of Mayan Fountain of Nam Van Lake.

The Cathedral. Situated near Rua de S. Domingos, the cathedral is located on the hilltop. Standing next to the Cathedral Bishop’s Palace is beautiful. Although the cathedral was not the biggest church in Macau, it is one of the grandest. The rebuilt completely renovated in 1937. The result of the renovation is a charming fountain and provides a comfortable place for locals and tourists to rest. Less than two minutes walk from the Cathedral there is a big road Rua de S. Domingos, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and Avenida de Praia Grande.
